Life is short!

Just a few hours back, like most of my days, I went for a run. I generally run for around 4–5 kms and then walk back the distance to my home. I am staying in Chennai for the past one year and have realised that it's really tough to get a long stretch without much traffic. There are a few roads nearby Marina beach and they are my preferred routes. Today I was exploring some other routes. I have this habit of taking a selfie every time during/ at the end of the run. So, here is the one like every other day!
I was happily treading across lanes and then I reached Triplicane ( the area beside Chepauk Stadium). I was exploring the streets and then I saw this.
I have seen the face somewhere, I quickly recollected that he is the one who mended my bike tyre a few days back. I had a flat tyre and was in distress. I got his number through a friend who is a local here. I called up and this guy with all his tool bag and puncture repair kit came to my rescue in no time. I clearly remember his face and have had a lot of conversations between us (probably because he was hindi speaking unlike most locals) and most importantly he helped me in distress. He even had a test ride on my bike to see if he had fixed it back properly. He was very much stylish and maintained a funky look irrespective of his nature of job.
I was upset to know that he is no more and the shopkeeper beside told me that he rode bikes very fast and met with an accident last week.
There had been many instances which made me realise that life is really short and unpredictable, this incident is just a recent example.
Ride safe guys!
