Where and what to shop in Chennai!
Parry’s Corner- First copy watches, pirated DVDs, cameras, sunglasses, soft toys and electronics. There are plenty of shops offering a variety of these products. You should have good bargaining skills to settle for a good deal.
Ritchie street- Almost all electronic components, circuits, music systems, lightings etc are found here. There are shops that repair laptops, smartphones, watches, televisions, etc etc. The streets remained overcrowded throughout the day. Beware of fake products.
Sowcarpet Gujarati market- This are has a large number of shops and clothes, lehengas, jewellery, bangles, makeup products, dry fruits, spices are abundant. This place also hosts a plethora of skilled ladies tailors to craft outfits for women of all ages.
T nagar- If you visit Chennai, it's compulsory that you visit this place and go on a shopping spree. Variety of clothes, sareers, silks of Kanchipuram, shoes, accessories, home electronics, you name it and they have it, all at a budget-friendly price.
Used branded mobiles and electronics with warranty, Webuy- This is a complete exchange shop for games, smartphones, cameras, laptops and other gadgets. This is personally my favourite as they host a variety of products at a reasonable price and also ensure guarantee on them. One of their branches is located in Phoenix Mall in Chennai.
Used motorcycles at Triplicane- If you are looking for a used motorcycle in Chennai, then just beside the Chepauk stadium there are quite a large number of shops showcasing used motorcycles. They also facilitate finance and transfer of registration.
Phoenix mall- If you prefer brand shopping, then you can’t get a better mall than Phoenix. Almost all premium brand showrooms are present here.
I am new to Chennai and exploring as much as possible. I love Buhari, Dindigul Thalappakatti, Murugan Idli and also the street delicacies at Marina Beach.
