Which Kindle to buy in 2019?


No matter what they say, there is nothing that can beat the experience of holding a paperback or hardcover book. I personally prefer a hardcopy and once read I add it to the library of my living room. The collection over the years gives me immense pleasure.
But weighing the pros and cons and as a traveller, an ebook reader is very much essential in terms of mobility and practicality and one should be in possesion to augment your existing resources. Unless you are voracious reader, I suggest you not to invest too much into an ebook reader. A basic Kindle (maybe with backlight and 4G) will serve the purpose. This will cost anything from around Rs.6000/- to Rs.10000/-. If you are willing to spend Rs.20000/- on an ebook, I would rather suggest you get an iPad.

Just a few hours back, like most of my days, I went for a run. I generally run for around 4–5 kms and then walk back the distance to my home. Last week I overheard this conversation between my dad and our regular vegetable vendor. Dad- Ajkal pehle ki tarah sabji me taste nahi mil paa raha hai (vegetables don't taste good these days) Vendor- Kaise milega sir, sab Modiji ki wajah se hua hai (how will you get sir, its due to PM Modi's fault) Dad- Woh kaise(how)? Vendor- Modiji ne sab bandh karwa dia hai (Modiji has stopped everything)! Dad- Arrey kya yeh to batao (what has he stopped)? Vendor - khet me jana bandh hogaya, sabziya aise hi ugg raha hai ajkal (He has banned people from going into fields for open defecation, vegetables are growing without natural fertilizers) Dad- fainted!
